30 At Home Date Ideas For Couples

For so many of us, our way of life has been put on pause during this time of the COVID-19 crisis. The majority of states in the United States and most countries all over the world have a stay at home orders which is very hard for a lot of folks out there. I, for one, am a social butterfly and physical touch is one of my top love languages. ::insert sarcasm here:: yay. Anyway, for those of us in relationships that are used to going out and spending quality time with our loved ones outside of the house, this is a challenging time. How can you keep the romance going when you’re stuck in the house for the foreseeable future? What do you do if you live with your significant other and see them every day? You might be tired of them (haha, it’s normal), but it’s so important to do your best and keep the romance and quality time alive during this time.

I’ve always been a big believer in being intentional with time and designating date nights for you and your partner. Date nights for yourself are important too! Another blog post on that coming soon! It’s not the easiest feat in the world because we are limited to what we can do and in most states, all retail locations are closed with the exception of restaurants that are offering take out and delivery services. However, we can do the best that we can and get creative on how we spend time together and kick our boredom in the process!

Here are 30 at home date ideas for couples from Ell Duclos below. If you have one that isn’t on this list, feel free to sound off in the comments below! Also, we know there are couples who don’t live together and are really practicing social distancing and haven’t seen each other in a while. We feel you and we hear you: try these ideas through a FaceTime date or Zoom video call! Happy Quarantine Dating! XO
