It's Good To Take A Break
It's good to take a break. It's good to decompress. Refocus. Realign yourself with your purpose and living life day by day. Whether it's a day, a week, a month or several months, just take time to DO YOU.
Sometimes we get so caught up going from one thing to the next. This event, that party, this meeting, work, school, whatever it may be. Then one day you realize that you're mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted. Lately, I have found myself keeping busy. This is a good thing, and by nature, I am a busy body. However, I do think I was overwhelming myself as a distraction. Although so many wonderful opportunities and relationships have been formed from being busy, I didn't realize that I was BURNED OUT. in every way I needed a break. To just sit, meditate, pray, read a book, and just RELAX.
It's okay to be by yourself and not be around people. Take a break from EVERYTHING and focus on the most important person in your life: yourself.
Realization: if we are out there just chasing life and running around, we will never really appreciate life and all the amazing blessings around us.
Let's take some time to stop and smell the roses, folks!
